THE WALL

Le Mur (The Wall) is part of a series of short films called POMs, which associate a photographer, a video artist, and a sound artist to work on a two-minute film.

POM : Developed by Benjamin Boccas, this creative concept represents the spirit of "evolutive" photography. The POMs offer multiple views by different artists on a common subject.
Sound and video artists use the series of photographs by putting together a form of video using a two-minute format. This establishes a dialog between the artists, which is the value of the object.
The POM renews modes of representation and invests in a creative way the territory for communication which is the multimedia : Web, DVD, television, mobile phones, cinema networks...
Created on the authors' initiative, this innovation allows for the use of photography as a bridge between information and artistic creation, putting still images into motion.

The concept of the POM was initiated by Territoires de Fictions in 2006.

The Wall was created by Frédéric Lombard and Jennifer Bonn for photographers Virginie Terrasse and Wilfried Estève, and was shown for the first time at the exhibit Paix comme Palestine, Peace for Palestine.
